Impact investing
With impact investing, you can invest in the world you want to live in by gaining exposure to companies focused on having a tangible positive effect for people and the planet.
What is impact investing?
Impact investing seeks to deliver financial returns by intentionally investing in companies whose core goods, services, or projects help solve the world’s biggest social or environmental problems.
Reasons to invest

In our impact strategies, we aim to achieve positive, measurable social and environmental outcomes alongside competitive financial returns.
All our investments have material exposure to at least one of our impact themes, provide solutions that are “additional” (unlikely to be provided by other means or entities), and have measurable impact key performance indicators (KPIs). Our impact themes naturally align with and support many of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
A World of Opportunities
We invest worldwide across three broad impact categories — Life essentials, Human empowerment, and Environment — which are further divided into 11 impact themes. We believe impact investment opportunities can represent innovative solutions across sectors and industries, in companies and issuers across market capitalizations. All our impact investments must offer material exposure to least one of our impact themes, have a low prospect of being met by other means, and their impact can be measured and tracked. Our fundamental analysis must support the potential for attractive long term returns.
DIFFERENTIATED SOLUTIONS

We believe the companies and issuers we invest in offer innovative solutions to many of the world’s social and environmental challenges. Their core goods, services or projects offer material exposure to least one of our impact themes, their solutions have a low prospect of being met by other means, and their impact can be measured and tracked.
