Building a blueprint for managing the physical risks of climate change
Heat, drought, wildfire, hurricanes, flooding, water scarcity. These are just a few of the physical risks of climate change that may have profound effects on capital markets.
We are working with Woods Hole Research Center (WHRC), the world’s leading independent climate research institute*, and CalPERs, one of the largest US public pension funds, to study the physical effects of climate change on capital markets and asset prices and to integrate those findings into our investment practices through a series of geospatial maps.
* #1 Ranked global-climate change think tank by International Center for Climate Governance(ICCG)over the last four years.

The Fletcher School at Tufts University
In 2018, faculty at The Fletcher School, Tufts’ graduate school of international affairs, taught the HBS case study on Wellington Global Impact and invited Wellington to conduct additional workshops on impact investing and measurement.
How we partner
Physical risks of climate change: Is your company prepared?
Few companies know how to disclose their plans for managing the physical risks of climate change, something investors and regulators increasingly demand.
We've teamed up with CalPERS on a framework called "P-ROCC" to help management teams integrate climate science scenarios into strategic planning and disclosure.
Put a plan in place
1.
Keep capital providers, investors, markets, and regulators informed
2.
Meet new disclosure requirements more effectively
3.
Assure investors that the company takes these risks seriously
4.
Recognize and adapt to the effects of climate change on operations
5.
Form a baseline to assess and build competitive advantage
